Community & Neighborhood
  • Host a free garage sale (or kids-led toy & game giveaway)
  • Host a block party with free food, games, and music
  • Organize a community or neighborhood clean-up
  • Renovate or refresh a local playground or park
  • Offer a “Free Grass Cutting” day

Practical Help for Individuals
  • Yard clean-up for widows, single moms, the elderly, or the disabled
  • Minor home or car repairs for those in need
  • Build a wheelchair ramp for someone with limited mobility
  • Provide meals or dinner kits for families in need

Schools & Teachers
  • Clean up or complete a project at a local school
  • Support a teacher with classroom or outdoor needs

Public Spaces & Outreach
  • Give out water, sunscreen, or snacks at parks
  • Hand out donuts and coffee at bus stops or busy areas
  • Pay for loads at a local laundromat
  • Offer free car washes (teachers, staff, or community)

Serving the Vulnerable
  • Provide blankets, snacks, and water for those experiencing homelessness
  • Serve a hot breakfast in your community
  • Offer hair care for cancer patients or the elderly
 
Hospitals
  • Deliver snacks, drinks, or care packages to staff and waiting families
  • Provide small gifts for children and families
  • Give healthy snacks to chemotherapy patients

Nursing Homes & Senior Care
  • Deliver flowers to residents
  • Host a fun event (like a “Senior Prom”)
  • Lead a simple service with music, encouragement, and prayer
  • Create and deliver handmade crafts
  • Improve outdoor spaces (gardens, seating areas)

Veterans & Service Workers
  • Put together care packages for veterans or those overseas
  • Cook a meal for local police or fire stations

Local Businesses & Community Spaces
  • Wash windows
  • Pick up trash in parking lots
  • Return shopping carts to designated areas

Youth & Special Needs
  • Host a field day or fun event for a youth or group home
  • Adopt a group home for the day and throw a party
  • Provide a “day out” for parents of a child with special needs
