GIvE

Generosity changes lives and demonstrates our understanding that God is the provider of everything.

Your giving is helping people know and experience God through a relationship with Jesus.   Lives are changing—marriages are healing, families are growing stronger, and people are discovering purpose. Thank you for being part of what God is doing through Cypress!

When you give to Cypress Church, there are two funds you can give to—wondering what the difference is?

The General Fund

When you tithe, you support the General Fund.  A tithe is giving the first 10% of your income back to God as an act of worship and trust—honoring Him with what He’s already provided.  Tithing supports the ongoing ministry and daily operations of Cypress Church across all campuses, including our local and global outreach initiatives.

The Next Fund

Going above and beyond your tithe by giving to The Next Fund supports launching new projects, campus expansions, and ministry initiatives that move the mission and vision of Cypress forward.

Ways to Give

Online Giving
Online giving options include debit or credit card, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal and Venmo.

Online giving is a safe and easy way to make a one-time contribution or set up a recurring contribution.

To give online, click on "TITHE" above.  If this is your first time giving online, you can set up a new account by clicking the “Sign In” tab and choosing to “Create One” at the bottom of the page.

Stock Gifts
Stocks + Bonds
To give stocks and mutual funds through investment accounts, email the Finance Office at finance@cypresschurch.tv.
Qualified Charitable Donations
If you are 70 ½ or older, you are eligible to give directly to Cypress Church from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Giving through a QCD is as simple as contacting your IRA custodian and instructing them to transfer any amount up to $100,000 per individual per year directly to Cypress Church from your IRA.

If you are 72 or older, a QCD can satisfy your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). QCDs will also not count towards your taxable income for the year allowing you to be generous and receive even more tax benefits. If you would like more information on how to initiate a QCD, please email finance@cypresschurch.tv.
Bill Pay
Bill Pay through your bank’s online system is a simple way to give. You can set it up as a one-time or recurring gift—just like paying any other bill. The difference? This isn’t a bill. It’s a joy to return to God what He’s entrusted to us.

FAQ

What is the difference between a tithe and The Next Fund?
A tithe is returning the first 10% of your income to God through your local church. It's an act of worship and trust—acknowledging that God owns everything and provides everything. Tithing supports the ongoing ministry and daily operations of Cypress Church across all campuses, including our local and global outreach initiatives.

The Next Fund is giving above and beyond the tithe. It fuels the future—helping fund new projects, expand campuses, and launch ministry initiatives. This is a One Fund approach, meaning your gift supports all approved projects, not specific ones. Our leadership sets the vision through prayerful discernment, and the generosity of people like you determines how quickly that vision becomes reality.  When you give to The Next Fund, you’re helping move the mission forward and step into what God is calling us to do next.

What are the current projects and ministry initiatives supported by The Next Fund?
The Next Fund helps move our mission forward by investing in projects and initiatives that expand our reach and impact. Here’s what’s currently being funded:
  • London Campus – Purchase land and build a new 20,000 sq. ft. facility
  • Dublin Campus – Add new lobby and ministry space
  • Alton Darby Campus – Renovate the Student Center and update flooring in the South Café
  • Grove City Campus – Renovate the lobby and update select restroom flooring
  • Powell Campus Merger
    • Pay off the mortgage of the joining church
    • Renovate the facility to create Cypress environments for kids, students, and adults
  • Next Gen Ministry Investment – Expand and equip staff at Marysville and Español campuses
  • Online Campus Expansion – Develop weekend teaching into a podcast format, available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other platforms
Through your generosity to The Next Fund, these projects help us reach more people and create more opportunities for life change.
Who do I contact if I have questions about my giving?
Please contact us at finance@cypresschurch.tv.
Are there fees involved with online giving?
You can choose to cover the processing fees or have Cypress take care of them. Please keep in mind that the processing fees associated with credit cards are higher for the church than with ACH transactions
Will I receive an Annual Giving Statement for tax purposes?
Yes. Cypress will mail you a Giving Statement covering all your tax-deductible donations by January 31 of each year to use when filing your taxes for the prior year. Statements are mailed every year by January 31, so it's important to keep your mailing address current. If you have not received a statement by the end of January, please contact the Accounting Department at finance@cypresschurch.tv.
How does my giving help those outside the church and active attendees who find themselves in difficult situations?
A portion of your giving goes towards funding specific initiatives, including our local and global outreach partners and the Financial Assistance Program, designed to help Cypress members and active attendees who find themselves in emergency or unexpected/difficult situations.
What is Cypress' accountability?
Cypress Church is an elder-governed, staff-led congregation that strives to equip God's people for meaningful ministry. Every year, Cypress undergoes a financial review by an independent CPA firm.
What is the Vision in Action Team?
Throughout the year, Cypress gathers with leaders from a variety of ministries across the church—Small Groups, Kids, Students, and more. One of these key gatherings includes the Vision in Action Team.  Members of this team are those who have exhibited the spiritual gift of giving. They help move the vision of the church forward by faithfully tithing and intentionally giving above and beyond to accelerate that vision.
How can I get help with personal finances?
We regularly offer Financial Peace University, a practical course to help you get out of debt, save, and give with confidence. Check the Small Group Directory on the Cypress website or app, or talk to your Campus Pastor or Small Group Director to find out when the next session starts.
