Casa Luz Orphanage in Peru

Thanks to your support—and the dedication of hardworking, joy-filled crews from Cypress—we've been able to accomplish a great deal over the years for Casa Luz, and we're not stopping now.  A few initiatives include land purchases, Learning Centers, construction and renovation, the purchase and installation of playground equipment, and the packing and delivery of 100,000 meals.

For years, this orphanage has been a refuge where children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned experience healing and hope through the tangible love of Jesus. Hundreds of young lives have been transformed - and we're so grateful to be part of that story.

Back to School Serve Weeks

Through our Back to School initiatives, we have the privilege of encouraging, praying for, and serving meals to teachers, administrators, and staff in 30 schools across our communities

Disaster Relief Buckets - Convoy of Hope

When disasters strike, Cypress partners with Convoy of Hope through financial support and the distribution of critical items, including water, food, hygiene products, and Disaster Relief Kits, to those in need.  Thank you for your generosity and for being such a giving church.  Due to your faithfulness, a recent project involved shipping hundreds of Disaster Relief kits and 15,950 products.

Fill A Backpack

Fill A Backpack includes purchasing thousands of backpacks, filling them with school supplies and essential food, and delivering them to under-resourced students who face food insecurity and a lack of access to necessary school supplies.

Here's a recap of one Fill A Backpack initiative:

Bed Brigade

Through our partnership with Bed Brigade, we've purchased the supplies and built hundreds of beds for kids in need in our community.  Many of the children who receive a bed are sleeping on the floor or sharing a bed with others.  The joy on their face when they receive their own bed is priceless.


Christmas for Kids

Our Christmas for Kids initiative includes purchasing gifts and toys for children in need within our communities.  All kids deserve a gift at Christmas!

When a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti,  thousands of lives were lost, countless communities were destroyed, and nearly the entire island was left without the single most vital resource: clean drinking water.

Thanks to you, Cypress was able to supply life-saving aid through our partner, World Hope. Your giving delivered 33,000 liters of water and supplies to Haiti during this time.
Thanks to you and your generosity, Cypress provided resources through our partner, World Hope, to rehab and redrill self-sustaining wells in Sierra Leone and Pate Bana. These wells daily offer clean water to hundreds of thousands of people and decrease the area's infant mortality rate from 30% to less than 1%.
Because of your faithful giving, Cypress provided resources to World Hope to help ship 220,000 pounds of medical supplies valued at over $7M dollars to the Moldova Ministry of Health. These supplies went to support over 300,000 refugees that have fled Ukraine. In addition, we helped fund the shipment of 3000 Med Packs to Ukraine and the training of 400 Ukrainian paramedics, firefighters, and workers on how to use the Med Packs to help save lives.
