Philippians 1:12-14 (NLT)
"And I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News. For everyone here, including the whole palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ. And because of my imprisonment, most of the believers here have gained confidence and boldly speak God’s message without fear." ------

In this passage, Paul reminds the Philippians, and us, to frame our perspective on the fruit that is being produced around us as laborers for Christ rather than the worldly circumstances we find ourselves facing. Paul, more than most, can say these things with credibility because he wrote them while in prison... I'd say his worldly circumstances could've been better, and yet he framed his perspective on the fruit of his works for Christ. We should do the same.

Lord, help me identify anything I like and want more than You. Help me to seek You above all, in all, and to share You with all. You are my God.
