In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death — even death on a cross! - Philippians 2:5-8

In this passage, Paul defines attitude as more than mere thoughts, but rather the intention of our mind followed up with actions. There are three traits of the attitude of Christ in the verses above:

1. Humility

2. Obedience

3. Self-sacrificing

Take some time today to journal and reflect on your attitude. Ask yourself how you can shape your attitude to be more like that of Christ.

Lord, teach me how to have an attitude like Christ. Help me pursue humility, obedience, and a self-sacrificing nature so that I can fulfill the purpose You have for my life. I want to die to myself to live a life like You. Thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross.
