Dublin Kids Leader
Full-Time
The Kids Leader provides leadership for Cypress Kids at the Dublin campus by building, equipping, and encouraging a team of Difference Makers who create a fun, friendly, focused, and safe environment for kids each weekend. This role works closely with the Dublin Campus Pastor and Central Kids Leader to recruit and develop volunteers, support weekend ministry environments, and ensure families have a great experience. The Kids Leader also helps create an environment where Difference Makers feel prepared, supported, and confident as they serve while ensuring the overall weekend ministry runs smoothly.
Requirements
- A strong walk with God demonstrated through a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Teachable, with a desire to grow in their faith and abilities.
- A self-starter who is highly motivated.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- A passion for helping kids and families grow in their faith
- Ability to build relationships and develop Difference Maker leaders.
- Clear communication skills with Difference Makers, parents, and staff.
- A good role model.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain a team of Difference Makers who lead weekend Kids ministry environments.
- Schedule and coordinate Kids Ministry Difference Makers.
- Oversee the Dublin Kids Team during weekend services to ensure a fun, friendly, focused, and safe environment for kids and families.
- Implement coaching process to ensure all Difference Makers are being cared for and prayed for.
- Ensure classrooms and environments are prepared for an excellent weekend experience.
- Oversee Kids Check-In and help ensure a smooth and welcoming process for families.
- Inventory, clean, and maintain the campus Kids Ministry supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Campus Pastor to support a healthy Kids Ministry environment.
- Build relationships with parents and help them feel connected to the ministry.
- Work with the Central Kids Team to execute ministry initiatives and attend Kids Team meetings as scheduled.
- Provide a weekly report following weekend services.
- Lead and / or assist in Baby Dedications.
- Attend all staff and Dublin team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
