Campus Pastor
Jackson Murphy
Learn more about Pastor Jackson in his interview with VoyageOhio!
Jackson is a familiar face around here. The oldest son of Pastor Ken and Serena, Jackson was pretty much raised at Cypress. A life in ministry, however, was not always the plan. Jackson’s dream of being a physical therapist was redirected during his sophomore year of college when he sensed God’s call to ministry.
In May 2019, Jackson married his wife, Olivia. Jackson and Olivia are both graduates of Indiana Wesleyan University and have a heart for seeing people far from God come to know Him in a personal way.
In May 2022, Jackson graduated with his Master of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. Before joining the Alton Darby team as the Campus Pastor and Director of Small Groups, Jackson led Guest Services and the Set-up & Tear-down Team as a volunteer at the church he attended in Indianapolis. He also helped set up our Cypress Online Campus and developed our Small Groups Ministry and Coaching structure.
Jackson loves all things football, food (especially his wife's sweet potatoes), and freshly brewed black coffee.
